New Workshops!

A Beginner’s Guide to Producing

St Martins will be running a BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO PRODUCING for emerging artists who wish to gain practical skills in producing their own work for the first time. Perfect for those currently in the throes of creating and producing work for this year’s Melbourne Fringe Festival…and beyond.

Led by Business Manager Trevor Matthews and Program Co-ordinator Hayley Butcher over four weeks the workshops will focus on;

production scheduling and planning, time management, communication, conflict resolution, delegation, managing money and budgets, applying for funding, becoming incorporated, marketing, audience development, production documentation, publicity, dealing with the media, industry schmoozing, risk assessments, insurance, working with venues, technical management, how to survive ‘bump in’ week…

Plus the last half an hour of each workshop will be dedicated to answering your specific questions.
