2012 TEENAGE ENSEMBLE

St Martins Teenage Performers Ensemble: A selected group of teenage performers who will train intensively together throughout three terms exploring performance techniques through a central text and approaches to body, voice and movement.  Each term ends in a performance outcome on the last Saturday of term at St Martins when all three ensemble attend and showcase their work.  Performers Ensemble members from across all three groups are re-auditioned for the LOVE LETTERS performance project and a cast selected specifically for that project.

Term One: Classical Greek
Term Two: Shakespeare
Term Three: Brecht
Term Four: Contemporary

AUDITION DATES FOR ALL THREE ENSEMBLES (Northcote, Newport and St Martins):
16 January at our South Yarra location.

Times:

Northcote: Thursdays, 4.30-6.30pm
Newport: Thursdays, 4.30-6.30pm
South Yarra: Saturdays, 2-4pm

Cost:

Teenage Ensemble: $ 360 per term
A $60 membership to St Martins is compulsory and lasts for one year.
A discount applies for healthcare card holders.

And New for 2012….Tune Up  for 15 – 26 ’s !

Tune-ups is a Friday night drop-in class running from 5-6.30pm at South Yarra only. Led on a rotating basis by the Interim Artistic Director, the Associate Director and the Access Officer with other guests artists regularly invited to bring skills to the group, ‘Tune –ups’ is for those wishing to develop and explore skills in improvisation, comedy, physical theatre, visual theatre and acting. A super-fun, pacey class for any experience level. No need to enrol, simply show up, pay your $15 and dive in!

Days and Times:

Fridays, 5-6.30pm, South Yarra.

$15 per class
