After twenty-five years of juicing up the cultural life of Victoria, St. Martins in 2008 is a vibrant community of extraordinary young people, interacting with Melbourne’s most dynamic theatre professionals. St. Martins is a small miracle upon the world stage.

A not-for-profit organisation entirely devoted to providing holistic, creative pathways from the age of five through to emerging artists. That’s why we’re still the garden that grows Australia’s most innovative and successful practitioners. From award-winning costume designers to internationally acclaimed actors, playwrights and directors; St. Martins has provided the skills and opportunities to launch thousands of careers.

So no matter what experience you have, if you are between the ages of 5 and 25, love your theatre and want to become part of a buzzing, creative vibe then without a doubt you belong at St. Martins in 2008.

The Emerging Playwrights Competition is NOW OPEN! The competition is open to young playwrights aged 13-25 from across Australia. We would love to read your new work!

The Winter Holiday Program runs June 30-July 4 (Week 1) and July 7-11 (Week Two).
