work experience

Limited work experience placements are available for secondary school students every year. Placements occur during performance periods to allow students hands on experience in all facets of production and administration.

Preference is given to students who have a passion for all facets of theatre making, not just acting. We are partcularly keen to offer placements to students interested in the technical side of theatre - lighting, design, sound design, and stage management.

In order to have a full experience of what makes a professional production, you may need to be available for some evening work when the show is in progress - you will need to clear this with your parent/guardian before you commit.

If you are interested in secondary school work experience placements, please complete our Work Experience Application Form and send it in along with a cover letter. Competition can be fierce, so we really want to see your passion for the theatre in the letter you write. Don't delay! Places fill up very fast.
