Performers Ensemble
Performers Ensemble is our 18 to 25 year old intensive actor training program and provides actors with effective skills to take forward in their emerging careers.
The Ensemble meets every Saturday from 10am to 5pm across four terms throughout the year. Melbourne’s leading teaching artists take the ensemble through intensive training in text, voice, movement and ensemble work. In their last term, the ensemble rehearses a new Australian work (written by the St Martins Emerging Writers Studio) which is performed in our theatre complex in early December.
Former Performers Ensemble graduates have been accepted into Australia’s and the world’s leading actor training institutions and continue to gain professional work in theatre, film and television. The Performers Ensemble is considered to be a barometer for Australia’s rising acting talent.
