membership & workshop enrolments
conditions of enrolment
Enrolments are not accepted without payment
Membership is non-refundable
Once an enrolment is confirmed, no refund is payable except in the case of events outlined below:
- the workshop or workshop season is cancelled by St Martins. A transfer or credit for another workshop will be offered in the place of the cancelled class. If this is unsuitable, a refund may be given for the class or classes cancelled only, with a charge of $30.
- withdrawal due to illness after class has commenced. Application for a refund will only be considered if made in writing within one month of term commencement, and must be accompanied by a Doctor’s certificate. Refunds will only be made for the portion of classes unattended minus the $30 cancellation fee.
Transfers are only permissible if notification is made prior to the start of term. Transfers are only available from one term to the next and may be made only once.
Payment does not guarantee a place in a workshop—places are filled on a first come first serve basis.
No enrolments will be accepted on the first day of class. All participants must be enrolled ahead of time. Faxed enrolments will only be accepted if payment is included by Visa or Mastercard.
We do not take telephone bookings as we require a signature on the enrolment form to indicate acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Any personal information you give to St Martins will be collected, used and storely soley in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
St Martins reserves the right to make photographic and/or visual recordings for all workshops, ensembles and performance projects for inclusion in our archives and for use in St Martins marketing publications.
St Martins Youth Arts Centre does not accept any responsibilty for any personal property left at the centre; nor does it accept liability for any personal injury, unless such an injury is caused through negligence on the part of a St Martin’s employee.
St Martins reserves the right to deny enrolment or ask an enrolled participant to leave a workshop. This will be the last option in a line of disciplinary action that begins with St Martin’s staff talking to the participant, the participant’s parent or guardian, and the implementation of a contract or code of conduct. In this event, a credit note or refund may be granted for the portion of classes unattended.
additional workshop information
There is a maximum number of students for each class so book early to avoid disappointment. There is also a minimum number of participants for each class. Unless this minimum number has been reached by the enrolment due date, the class will not take place.
The St Martins Programme works on a first come first served policy.
All participants will receive notification that their enrolment has been accepted. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes - workshops are practical & physical. You may work on the floor so avoid white clothing. Please do not wear heavy or expensive jewellery to class.
If you are unable to attend a class, you must notify St Martins by ringing the office no later than 6pm on weekdays on the day prior to your class.
